7:00am Line up for escorted ride from Georgia National Fairgrounds to Andersonville National Historic Site
7:30am Depart Georgia National Fairgrounds
9:00am Opening Service begins (duration approximately 1 hour)
12:00pm – 12:30pm Depart Andersonville to return to Houston County

Support needed:
Water and coffee for line up
Honor Guard for ceremony
5 cases of water for Honored Guests at Opening Services
Coolers and ice for use at line up and ceremony

Saturday

RECOGNITION CEREMONY & FLYBOY, GROUND POUNDER LUNCH


9:00am Line up for escorted ride from Harbor Freight to Central Georgia Technical College
9:45am Depart from Harbor Freight parking lot
10:15am Arrive at Central Georgia Technical College
11:00am Recognition Ceremony begins, followed by lunch


Support needed:
Escorts to help Honored Guests from bus or personal vehicle to inside the building
Picnic style food – Hot dogs, BBQ, Hamburgers, etc
Water, sweet tea, soft drinks

3:15pm Line up for escorted ride from Harbor Freight to Central Georgia Technical College
4:00pm Depart Harbor Freight parking lot
4:20 – 4:30pm Arrive at Central Georgia Technical College
5:00pm Hero’s Banquet begins followed immediately by Keeping the Promise Service and Candlelight Service
8:00-8:30 Evening events completed


Support needed:
Escorts to help Honored Guests from bus or personal vehicle to inside the building
Color Guard for ceremony
35 – 40 people to rearrange tables for Saturdays events at the end of service
(It should only take about 1 hour to complete set up)

Note – CGTC staff will have tables, chairs, lights, sound, projector and stage set for Friday services.
Cousins Catering will provide all food and beverages.

MEET AND GREET CONCERT


1:00pm – 2:00pm Honored guests arrive to Houston County and check in to hotels
2:00pm – 3:00pm Guests begin to arrive at Robins Museum of Aviation
3:00pm – Ceremony begins with guest speaker David Eberly POW Gulf War
4:30pm – 6:00pm Meet and Greet including a concert by Ricky Lee for Honored Guests and Active Duty of
                  Robins AF Base


Support needed:
Plates, flatware, cups, napkins
Sweet Tea, water, coffee, soft drinks
Finger foods – veggie plates, cheese plates, sandwiches, etc.


September 14, 2017  Thursday

VIETNAM TRAVELING MEMORIAL WALL


7:00am Line up for escorted ride to Central Georgia Technical College (line up location to be determined)
7:30am Depart
8:00am Arrive at Central Georgia Technical College – park, meeting, lay wall track, bolt together, add
               bracing, place panels
1:00pm Wall set-up completed and open to public

Support needed:
25-30 people to assemble the Wall (adults preferred)
Volunteers to guard Wall – minimum of 2 to 4 people at all times - 4 hour shifts (must be adult or        
                accompanied  by an adult)
1 or 2 set ups of construction style lighting for wall viewing at night
Landscaping – mulch, potted plants (mulch amount to be determined)
12 chairs for guests who need to sit as they visit the Wall
Pizzas – lunch for volunteers (served 12:00-12:30)
Water trough/coolers and ice for 3 days
Bottled water, soft drinks, Gatorade – to hydrate volunteers during 4 hour set-up
15 cases of bottled water for Wall employees/volunteers for 3 daysType your paragraph here
