National Prisoner of War/Missing in Action (POW/MIA) Recognition Day is Friday, September 21, 2018. In honor of that day, the National Park Service, the Friends of Andersonville, are hosting the 2018 National POW/MIA Recognition Day - 'The RIDE HOME' Opening Services at 0900 hrs. on the Grounds of the Andersonville Historical Site. At 1700 hrs. Central Georgia Technical College will be hosting the HERO'S Banquet, followed by Keeping the Promise Service and Candlelight Service. Saturday,
22 September at 1100 hrs., Central Georgia Technical College will host the Recognition Service followed by the FLYBOY-Ground-Pounder Lunch. All Services are OPEN to the Public.
